1988年畢業(yè)于美國依阿華大學化學系，獲博士學位。現(xiàn)為廈門大學海洋與環(huán)境學院院長，兼任中國海洋環(huán)境學會副理事長、中國化學會環(huán)境化學專業(yè)委員會委員、福建省環(huán)境科學學會副理事長等。
長期從事環(huán)境化學、分析化學、分離科學的教學和科研工作。主要科研領域為環(huán)境有機污染物的來源、遷移轉化及歸宿研究、環(huán)境污染物的分析新方法、環(huán)境樣品預處理新技術的建立與發(fā)展。已發(fā)表學術論文百多篇。2000年以來發(fā)表的有40多篇，其中為SCI收錄的近20篇。獲省部級獎項3項。
Dr. Yuan Dongxing graduated from University of Iowa of USA and received Ph.D. degree in 1988. Her research interests include environmental chemistry, analytical chemistry and separation science, focusing on the investigation of source, transformation and fate of organic pollutants, as well as the establishment of new analytical methods and sample pretreatment technique. Since 2000, more than 40 papers have been published.
